Implicit Bias: Knowledge and Strategies for Sustainable Impact (3 hours)

Early childhood education is a critical stage in a child’s development, and the role of teachers in shaping young minds is significant. However, teachers, like any other human, are susceptible to implicit biases, which can profoundly impact young children’s education and development.

This training will help educators understand what it means to hold implicit biases and the steps to overcome messaging we have received our entire lives. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of what, why, and how they think about differences and an action plan for continued progress toward overcoming biases in their work as educators.
